Hearne responds to rash of home invasions

The investigation by Hearne Police Department into this string of burglaries is currently ongoing. When reached for comment, Hearne Mayor, Ruben Gomez said that he recently met with Police Chief Thomas Williams to discuss what steps can be taken to prevent these types of instances from happening in the future. Chief Williams discussed several options with the Mayor, including specialized training for Hearne Police and dispatch and more street lights in poorly lit areas of town.
