Bremond baseball player hits a great achievement
Greg Wilganowski, a recent graduate of Bremond High School, made the second team of the 1A All State baseball program.
Over his senior year, Wilganowski played sixteen games, with a batting average of .446. Wilganowski had an on-base percentage of .562. He also had 25 hits, 30 RBI’s (runs batted in), and 24 runs.
Coach Taylor Rowe coached a team that was nationally ranked as number 7418 and ranked number 653 in Texas.
Mr. Wilganowski received the Jason Yancy Memorial Sports scholarship for his passion for sports. He also received the Bremond Kwit Stop scholarship and the Bremond Masonic Lodge #350 scholarship upon his graduation.
Greg Wilganowski is a wonderful athlete and has brought Robertson County and the city of Bremond a great since of pride to see one of its own do make such great achievements.
