Eloise Hyson-Williams, 85, of Franklin went to be with the Lord Wednesday July 10,2013 at Franklin Nursing Home.
Eloise Hyson-Williams was the 6th child of 7 children born to Willie Hyson and Minnie Cross on September 27, 1927 in Franklin Texas.
She attended Franklin, Texas public school. Eloise accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of the church of God in Christ. Her participation in ministries included being a treasurer, church clerk, serving on the program committee, mission, food committee, and was a mighty prayer warrior.
Eloise was a homemaker and worked 17 years in the community as a great Home Health Care Provider. She was a faithful wife and devoted mother. She married O. C. Williams and mothered 13 children.
Preceding her in death was her father, mother, husband, one sister, five brothers, three daughters Carol, Mae Francis, Rosa Lee, Four sons Joe Carl, Winston, Osie Jr. and Roy Dell.
Eloise leaves to cherish Rasheed Mohamed Los Vegas, Jimmie Williams “Doris”, Joe E. Williams “Sandra”, daughter-in-law Annett William, all of Hearne Texas. Peggy Ann Williams-Mata “Isidro Jr.”, Peggy Joyce Williams-Richards, Johnny Williams, Merlin Hyson (sister-in-law), all of Franklin, TX, forth-nine grandchildren, 73 great-grand children, 58 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation was held 1:00-8:00pm Friday July 20, 2013 at Glen Mack Funeral Home.
Home going celebration of life honoring Eloise was held at 11am Saturday July 20, 2013 at North New Hope Baptist Church in Franklin Texas.
Rev. Donald F. Adams, Pastor, Rev. John H. Ealoms, Eulogist, Rev. H. R. Taylor, officiante. Also assisting was Rev. G. H. Jones and Rev. Eddies Thomas.
