St. Mary’s Fall Festival flash
Fall Festival had a very large turnout. As soon as the doors opened the event was packed with people. There were various booths set up for everyone’s enjoyment. There were things like a cupcake walk to guessing how much candy was in a vase and much much more.
There were food vendors from all over; they varied from Ama’s Authentic Mexican Restaurant to just people cooking away. There foods like tamales, fajitas, funnel cakes and other cakes and sweets.
The ladies of St. Mary’s Church held a fundraiser where they sold plates of spaghetti, which was served with garlic bread, a salad, a dessert, and your choice of sweet or unsweet tea or water.
There was even a live auction. People donated items to be auctioned off and the money raised went to the church. Items sold for big amounts, for example Luke Collette put up a BBQ pit/Fire pit, which sold for a little over a thousand dollars.
The Fall Festival was a big hit and was enjoyed by many adults and children.
