On Saturday November 2, the Bremond Public Library and the TSGWarehouse hosted a very delicious success.

The judges for the chili cook off were Lori Kimbrough, Jessie Koenig, Melanie Stellbauer, Greg Allen, and Larry Muehlstein.

There were 16 teams that participated and made their own kind of yummy chili.

Third place went to the Backwood Country Gals with their “real Texas chili”. They won $50.

Second place went to Tessy Crawford, who won $75 and first place went to Melinda Jackson who won $100.

The spoon award for best presentation, décor, and theme went to Brother Stan Ortner. He also won the Best Chili in Bremond through Donations.

“Come on out next year for some great chili!” Officer Jacob Luna exclaimed.
