Library drawing slated for Nov. 25

The Carnegie Library will be having a Christmas basket raffle to benefit daily supplies, programs, books, and special projects needing completion around the library. Raffle tickets cost $5.00 for six of them or $1.00 each. To purchases the tickets stop by the library. The Drawing will be held on November 25 after 5:00 p.m.

The Carnegie Library is also hosting a Gingerbread House Contest. Entry forms for the contest have been sent out to the school for ages 4-11. Entries forms are due on November 15. If you bring your entry forms back to school they are due at 3:00 p.m. and if you bring the entry forms to the library they are due by 5:00 p.m. The library hopes that at least 20 children participate. If you have any questions you can call Melanie Redden or need an entry form come by the library.

The library has story time from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. for 2 and 3 year olds. There is stories, crafts, snacks, and a lot of laughs shared. It is also a chance to meet other moms and children can make new friends.

The November top four children’s readers will receive a ball to play with.
