The Hearne Eagles are going to miss the strong group of graduating seniors from the program this season.  Kyle Castilleja, Tredarrian Satchell, and Marcjavion McGrew, all have played huge roles in the Eagles success over the past years. Regardless of the sport they have demonstrated their leadership.  Because of their efforts, the Eagles carried the largest group of qualifiers to the Region in recent years.  I’m sure as Head Coach Clinton Smith stated in August, this Hearne program is definitely one that is headed in the right direction. He has established an identity to the Eagles that he hopes they will maintain during the coming off-season.

The younger players following the example set forth by the seniors, will go a long way toward creating the atmosphere of winning that the Eagles are seeking.  Next season will bring a new District, with different opponents and a new 3A classification but it will offer a chance to show what they have learned in their first two years of the program. If they continue to progress, they could become a force before to long.

Good luck to the Eagle seniors and congratulations to them on a memorable season.
