Morine Casey Ellison
Morine Casey Ellison, 86, passed away May 06, 2014, in Ranger, Texas.
She was born August 25, 1927 in Ranger, Texas to John and Ada Casey, she went home to be with the angels on May 6, 2014. She was one of twelve children.
She was proceeded in death by parents, John and Ada Casey; her husband, Gene Ellison; two brothers, Shorty Casey and Chubby Casey; two sisters, Laura Murdock and Louise Wheat.
Survived by two sons, Charles and wife, Barbara White from Ranger, TX; Jerry and wife, Ginger White from Van Buren, AR; and daughter, Sue and husband, Jerry Fort of Palestine, TX. Two stepdaughters: Pat Currier of San Antonio, TX and Jennie Cox of Mansfield, TX. Brothers: Hansell, Arlie, Donnie, Billy, Frank, MacArthur and Melvin James Casey; Grandchildren: Suzi and husband, James Elliott, Lee and wife, Leslie Johnson, Cody White, Autumn and husband, Ryan Bruder, David and wife, Jamie Fort, Melissa and husband Stephen King, and 13 great grandchildren.
Ms. Ellison spent majority of her life in nursing, playing golf, dancing, fishing, working in her flowerbeds and traveling.
Services were held at Merriman Cemetery on May 8 in Ranger, TX, with Reverend John Casey officiating.
Pallbearers were grandsons: Lee Johnson, David Fort, Cody Lee, James Elliott; and great grandsons: John Minter, David Litton, and Stetson Johnson.
