Mae Beth Barber Bishop Young passed from this life on May 25, 2014. She was born May 12, 1932 in Bremond Texas. She was the fifth of nine children born to Thomas and Frances Barber.

She was a resident of Hearne most of her life. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and working in her yard. She leaves a legacy for her family of quiet devotion, selfless love, and moral strength. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her and her contagious laughter.

Mae Beth is survived by three brothers Eugene Barber of Caldwell, Harold Barber of Lexington, Royce Barber of Rockdale, and a sister Mary Elizabeth Spitzenberger of Round Rock.She is also survived by: her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Randy Werner of Bryan: her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Amy Bishop of Austin: grandchildren: Randa Werner Stephens of Bryan, Jessica Werner Jenkins of Belton, Katharine Bishop of Chattanooga, TN, Nathaniel Bishop of Austin, Courtney Minor of Bryan, and Hannah Moehnke of Austin: great grandchildren: Rebecca Lynn Stephens of Bryan, Lorena Burdette, Evan Burdette, Ryan Burdette of Chattanooga, TN, Michael Jenkins and Jack Jenkins of Bryan. In addition to numerous nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
