Powder Puff Fundraiser in Franklin

admin's picture

It was a game to remember this past Thursday, May 22 as the Franklin High School girls took Hedrick Field for a Project Graduation Powder Puff football game. The senior and sophomore girls claimed a victory over the junior and freshman girls in this fun filled fundraiser. The girls team was supported and cheered for by the Lions very own football team, dressed in full cheerleading attire. A Powder Puff Queen competition was held and MacKenzie Anderson escorted the crowned Powder Puff Queen Joe Riley in this backwards event. All proceeds of Project Graduation’s football game from both admission and the bake sale went towards the David Knight Scholarship Fund; the game raised over $1,600.00 for this scholarship program.
