Ella Mae “Sugar Do right” Nelson, 87, of Hearne , departed this life Sunday May 27, 2013 at Hearne Health Center.
Ella Mae was born to the late Walter and Mary Turner in Robertson County, Texas.
Ella Mae attended school in Hearne and came to know Chirst Jesus at an early age.
Ella Mae “Miss Suga” Turner met and married Eddie Nelson. To this union, four children were born. They were Thelma Jean, Eddie Mae, Jimmy LeRoy and William Nelson all of whom proceded her in death.
Ella Mae “Miss Suga” was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.
Miss Suga leaves to cherish her sweet memories, five immediate grandchildren: Curtis (Kerri) Nelson of Cypress, Texas, Fledia Satchell, Ulanda Nelson, Tracy Nelson, and Pamela Nelson all of Hearne Texas; and a host of many great-grandchildren, neices, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was Friday May 31 from 7p.m. – 8:30p.m. at Glenn Mack Funeral Home.

Alfred “Kizer” Morrow, 92, of Franklin went to be with his Lord Thursday May 23, 2013 in Franklin.
Alfred Morrow was born June 4, 1920 to the late Laura and Algeno Morrow. For most of Alfred’s life, he lived in Franklin Texas where he worked hard for his living.
At an early age, Alfred joined the CC Camp and had to discharge due to health issues. He later went back to work as an employess of the railroad as a mechanic. He also worked for Robertson County.
Alfred attended school at Brookville. Alfred met and married the late Imongene Tindle. To this union six children were born. He later met Rosie Lee Howkins and to this union six were also born.
After years of working, Alfreds health once again started to weigh heavy and fail him. In the early morning hour, God saw a better reason for him and decided to come and take home to live an everlasting life.

Visitation for Deacon Davis will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Glenn Mack Funeral Home.
Celebration of life Honoring James Davis will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Old Elam Missionary Baptist Church – 1202 West Second St., Hearne, TX
Rev. James Crawford will deliver the Eulogy. Internment to follow at Greater Riverside Cemetery in Hearne.

Donny Michael Alvarado went to be with his lord and savior and to be reunited with his loving parents Pete and Timmie Alvarado at the age of 38 on Saturday, March 30, 2013. He was born in DeLeon, TX and was a longtime resident of Hearne, TX. He was well known for his remarkable tattooing and great carpentry skills (which he got from his dad).

James Earl Ephraim, 72, of Franklin, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Dallas VA Medical Center in Dallas, TX. James was born on April 1, 1940 to his parents Albert Ephraim and Mamie Robertson. He attended U.S. Morgan High School in Franklin, TX. James left school early and enlisted in the military at the age of seventeen. He became a Paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Regiment. His adventure in the military was cut short in 1958 when a jump from the plane left him with a major leg injury. James moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin immediately after service, and then back to Texas. He was employed at Swifts Packing House in Fort Worth. He later took those skills to Los Angeles where he was employed for four years. James came back home to Texas in 1975 and worked in farming and did heavy equipment work until his health failed. James was united in marriage to Miss Gloria Williams on February 19, 2012. James was preceded in death by his parents Albert Ephraim, Sr.
