Council hears stage proposal for Guy Chandler Park
The Hearne Council heard information on a proposal for a new amphitheater type stage to be built at Guy Chandler Park. The proposed stage has been designed by Gassen Construction of Franklin to be 45’ wide and 22’ deep.
The construction materials proposed is that of a manufactured composite decking material with a 25 year manufacturer’s warranty.
The stage would feature a rounded front with two sound wings left and right with a covered slated roof made from galvanized steel. The state itself will sit approximately 3’ above the ground. The stage design is such to run the entire width of the park, butting up against the back fence where the alley gate access is situated.
