Eagles look to scalp Shiner Friday

The Eagles have a tough draw this week when they face off against 10-1 Shiner Comanches.

The two teams have never met on the field before so this will be a first. The Comanches have had two 5 game winning streaks this season with the latest still ongoing. Their only loss this season was to State Playoff team 3A Lexington.

No team has scored more than once on them in the latest winning streak so they have been stout on defense. The offense has also played well scoring seemingly at will as witnessed by their 76-0 rout of Santa Maria in the first round of the playoffs.
