Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced a statewide effort to collect damage assessment data for this unprecedented event. This information is being collected to help officials across the state gain an understanding of damages for individuals throughout Texas. EMs will have direct access to all reporting via WebEoc on the Recovery Common Operating Picture Board.

• John Calahan of Hearne was arrested and charged for aggravated sexual assault of a child by HPD. • Jerry Reeves of Hearne was arrested and charged for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon by HPD.

Laquinthia Nelson of Hearne has returned to the Robertson County Jail as of this past Tuesday thanks to the Robertson County DA’s office. Nelson was originally released from the Robertson County Jail on December 11, 2020, on a personal recognizance bond, a bond that was originally denied by the Robertson County DA’s office but later granted, at the request via email by Robertson County Sheriff Gerald Yezak.
