Alice Faye Endsley Kilgore
Alice Faye Endsley Kilgore, 73, of Hearne, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2018 at her home. She was born in Waco, Texas August 1, 1944 to Robert Lane Endsley and Rachel Melinda Kunze Endsley Howell. Alice lived in Hearne for 31 years where she was an office manager for Tetco for 13 years before her retirement. She had many relatives and friends and was loved by all who knew her. Visitation was held Friday, February 2, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Heartfield-Ritter Funeral Home. Funeral service was held Saturday, February 3, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Hearne with burial that followed in Norwood Cemetery. Services were officiated by Reverend James Hooper of First Baptist Church. Pallbearers were Daniel James “Jamie” Conner III, Ronald “Sugar Bear” Endsley Jr., Ronald “Trey” Endsley III, Don Renfro, James Strickland, and Charles Smith. Honorary Pallbearer was Daniel James “D.J.” Conner IV. Alice’s survivors include her husband, Clyde Gene Kilgore of Hearne; her mother and step-father, Rachel Melinda Kunze Howell and James Joseph Howell of Hearne; daughter and son in law, Robin Rachelle and Joe Johnson of Wyoming; brothers and sisters in law, Tommy Lane and Elizabeth Endsley of Calvert; Bobby Ray and Jenitta Endsley of Crossett, Arkansas; sister, Elizabeth Jan Conner of Hearne; brother in law and sister in law, Johnny and Vicky Brocato of Marlin; grandchildren, Alicia Marie Smith, Katelyn Michelle Smith, and Charles Allen “Thumper” Smith Jr.; great grandchildren, Hunter, Gage, and Mackenzie; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Alice was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lane Endsley; her brother, Ronald Wayne Endsley; her sisters, Frances Anne Puryear and Linda Darlene Brocato; and her brother in law, Daniel James Conner Jr. Arrangements were entrusted to Heartfield-Ritter Funeral Home.
