Deborah Ann Bouis Elliott

Deborah Ann Bouis Elliott of Bryan formally from Hearne, Texas, age 59, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at her home in Bryan. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and aunt and friend to all. Deborah never wanted to be a burden on those that she loved. Her wishes were for a small celebration of life it will be held at the Memorial Funeral Home in Hearne. This service took place on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at 802 S. Market Street in Hearne, Texas. Deborah was born on July 21, 1957 in Hearne, Texas to Waymon Keith Bouis and Katheryn Abate McNair both of Hearne. She lived in Hearne with her family until they moved to the Austin area for several years for her father’s plumbing business. She later returned to Hearne, where she attended Hearne High School and graduated in 1974. Deborah was very active in high school she was the FFA Sweetheart, a Homecoming princess, and competed in several pageants over the years. After high school she married her high school sweetheart C. Scott Elliott and had a son, Aaron Kyle Elliott. She obtained her Cosmetology license and owned her own salon in Hearne for many years and then moved to Bryan where she continued her career doing hair and was also a makeup artist with Lancôme, Borghese, and Estee Lauder. Deborah never met a stranger, as evidenced by the many friends she made over the years and by her dedication and love she had for her son and family. A strong Christian, Deborah devoted her life to raising her son and later being very active in the life of her grandson Ethan Elliott. Those two boys were the loves of her live and she did everything in her power to love them. She had a sweet loving personality and made it her mission in life to love and support her son and family in everything they did; she was very close to her father, mother, and stepfather. Her vibrant personality and strong sense of individualism made her a beautiful person inside and out. Deborah is preceded in death by her grandparents, stepfather Joe McNair; stepmother, Dale Bouis and ex in laws all from Hearne, Texas. Left to cherish her memory Deborah is survived by her loving parents, Waymon Keith Bouis of Bryan, and Katheryn McNair of Franklin. Deborah is also survived by her son, Aaron Kyle Elliott and wife Tawyna of College Station; grandsons, Ethan Kyle Elliott, Dustin Cole Bomnskie, and Westin Hunter Bomnskie; brother, Dewayne Bouis and wife Lisa of Bryan, Texas; her half sister, Amanda Holland of College Station. Several nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and friends from all the Brazos Valley area.
