Eddie Dawayne Allen
Eddie Dawayne Allen, 45 was born April 29, 1973 in Hearne, Texas to Doyle Allen Sr. and Versa Allen. Eddie Dawayne Allen left this world to be with his Savior on October 16, 2018. Eddie accepted Christ at an early age at Old Elam Missionary Baptist Church. Eddie also worshiped with First Baptist Church. Eddie attended Hearne public school and graduated from Hearne High School in 1993. While in high school Eddie ran track where he received many medals. He also got a chance to fly out and meet the late Whitney Houston. Eddie was a dedicated member of the Hearne Volunteer Fire Department for 11 years. He always kept a smile on his face and loved helping others every chance he could. You never heard “No” come out of his mouth when someone asked him for a favor. Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Allen Sr., his grandparents, John Burgess, Betty Simons, Clarence Smith, Sr. and Emma Jean Smith. Eddie will be greatly missed! Eddie leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Versa Allen, adopted parents, Bart and Luanne Lockhart (Mom & Dad), his two brothers, Doyle Allen Jr. and Derick Walker, his five sisters, Demetria Allen (Michelle), LaKendra Allen, Nett Brown (Bruce), Demetrus Williams (Rodney) and Chenique Johnson with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, godchildren, and friends. Visitation was held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018 at the All Families Mortuary’s Chapel located at 109 N. Alamo St. Hearne, Texas. Funeral Services were set for 11:00 a.m.on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at First Baptist Church located at 105 West 1st Street Hearne, Texas. Active Pallbearers: James Chmiel, Jessie Contreras, Joe Contreras, Cameron Morehead, Andrew Contreras, and Chris Edwards. Honorary Pallbearers: Anthony Allen, DaMarcus Rodriquez, JaMarcus Jutson, Dexter Brown, Xavier Elliott, Octavius Williams, and Hearne Volunteer Firefighters. Eddie took his last ride on the Hearne Volunteer Fire Department’s Truck E1to his final resting place, Greater Riverside Cemetery and Last Call was for Eddie Dawayne Allen was sent out by HVFD’s radio at 2:28 p.m. on October 20, 2018. All arrangements were entrusted to All Families Mortuary and Cremation Services.
