Fannie Dee Moore Sweaks

Fannie Dee Moore Sweaks, 95 of Caldwell, formerly of Hearne, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Copperas Hollow Nursing and Rehab Center. Fannie was born July 19, 1922 in West, Texas to James William Moore and Margaret Elizabeth Cook Moore. She was married to Bill Sweaks and was a homemaker. Visitation and funeral service were held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Elliott Baptist Church in the Elliott Community with Reverend Dale Wells officiating. There was no public graveside service but burial was in Norwood Cemetery in Hearne. Fannie was preceded in death by her parents, James William Moore and Margaret Elizabeth Cook Moore; her husband, Bill Sweaks; sister, Loretta Fruzia; brothers, Elmer, Leon, Hollis, Vernon, and Wilburn. Survivors include her sister, Marie Potter of Caldwell, formerly of Hearne; her brother and sister in law, Warren Moore and Merle Moore of Elliott; sister in law, Frances Moore of Bryan; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Arrangements were entrusted to Heartfield-Ritter Funeral Home.
