As Church Worship Leader over the past eighteen years, Janice’s musical gifts touched many lives. She was also an avid horsewoman and loved long trail rides. Raising chickens and goats on their ranch suited Janice and she was as comfortable praying while mowing on the tractor as she was praying on her knees in church with a hurting friend. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Milton and Elouise Johnson Moore; and her father and mother-in-law, Mack William and May- Beth Hoyt. Janice is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Pastor Jerry Hoyt who was born and raised in Hearne, Texas; and by their three sons and families, Stephen and Carolyn Hoyt of Adkins, Texas, Scott and Marcy Hoyt of Leander, Texas, and Chuck and Jodie Hoyt of Johnstown, Colorado. Janice is also survived by her only brother, Monty and Cathy Moore of Huntsville, Alabama, and her sister-in-law, Liz Hoyt Herbert Eberle of San Antonio, Texas.
