Eagles to leash Bulldogs Friday
The Hearne Eagles, coming from a bye week play host to the Thorndale Bulldogs this Friday at Woods Field.
The Eagles, listed at 7-0 will face their toughest opposition in the Bulldogs. If the game were decided by statistics, the Eagles are picked as a 7 point favorite in the match-up.
Hearne is boasting impressive offensive numbers for the shortened season. At Quarterback Michah Smith through 7 games has an average QB rating of 109.9 with 72 of 126 for 1179 yards in the air. Not to mention the impressive 13 touchdowns with only 4 interceptions on the season so far.
Smith is also the leading rusher for the Hearne Eagles with 49 carries and 363 yards giving Smith 1,542 yards total and an average of 220.3 yards per game played. Smith is a senior this year.

While Holland may have been diffcult Thorndale will be looking to keep the district title for themselves and will have to beat this ever tough Eagle team, in Hearne on Friday night.
