Patsy was known to most as “NANNY”. Nanny left her earthly home here with us on May 9, 2025, at the young age of 78 years old to spend eternity at her new home with Jesus in Heaven. She will be welcomed there by her biological father Jim Anthis and her Mom and Dad Eddie and Dora Musgrave along with many other wonderful relatives that have already arrived. Patsy was born in Rockdale, Texas on July 16, 1946. She graduated from Smiley High School in Houston Texas. Patsy married Lee Washington Vaughn JR in 1965, and they have been married for 59 years. Lee and Patsy helped forge multiple families together that would form a loving bond that truly will last a lifetime. Nanny is survived by: Her loving husband Lee Vaughn. Her children Paul Vaughn and his wife Shiela. Tim Vaughn and his wife LaDonna. Her brother Boggie Anthis. Her 9 Grandchildren Josh/Rachel Vaughn, Heather/Chris Hartnett, Carson/Cierra Vaughn, Christopher/Saray Vaughn, Zach Vaughn, Matt/Danielle Vaughn, Lance/Kiahna Simpson, Na’Hailey Onderdonk AND 12 Amazing Great Grandkids. Nanny was known for her love of Bowling, fishing, singing in church, camping, hunting, going to Bike Rallies, listening to Elvis, playing 42 and most of all, she absolutely LOVED the Houston Astros. She instilled in all of us how important it is to love with all you have, help with all you can and most of all, LOVE the LORD. Nanny was a loving Mother and wife with a wild spirit and a tough side. She was ready to handle anything that was thrown at her and lived with grace and forgiveness and love. Nanny left us too MANY great memories to count, and we will cherish them all until we see her again in Heaven. Be happy for Patsy for her arrival at the Kingdom of Heaven. God Bless. Jimmy J Lopez.jpg

Happy Heavenly Birthday, My Beloved Brother, Jimmy J. Lopez — 5.5.55

Today, I celebrate the extraordinary soul that you are—the light you brought into every life you touched. I carry with me the laughter we shared, the warm holidays, backyard BBQs, cozy dinners, the movies and sports we loved, and the endless joy of simply being in your presence. From childhood memories to grown-up heart-to-hearts, your smile and laughter still echo in my heart like a familiar song. Born in Bryan, Texas… raised in Hearne… and embraced by Houston, you carried your kindness with you wherever you went. You were a man of quiet strength, generous even to strangers, and loved deeply by those who knew you. Your love for the Texans and Astros was only matched by your passion for the game—you played baseball with heart well into your 50s. As a master welder, your talent and dedication made you respected and admired in your field. But beyond the skill, it was your spirit that made you unforgettable. When God made you, He gave us a rare and radiant gift—a son, a brother, a father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend with a heart big enough for us all. Today, May 5, 2025, we celebrate you. Thank you for being my lifelong protector, my role model, and the best big brother I could ever hope for. You will live through me, in every act of love, in every cherished memory. You are forever in our hearts—our guardian angel watching from above. Mom sends her love, as she always does... And I send mine too, with all I have. I love you endlessly, Jimmy. Happy Heavenly Birthday. With all my heart, Your sister, Belinda
